JustAnswer is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of its backend systems and payment processing solutions. The role primarily focuses on backend and API testing, requiring strong SQL and C# programming skills. The Senior Automation QA Engineer will collaborate with a highly skilled payments team and contribute to CI/CD-driven test automation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated tests for backend and API services.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate data integrity.
• Utilize C# for test automation.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Rest Assured or Postman.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and US-based team members.
• Drive CI/CD automation.
• Support the transition from Selenium-based UI testing to integration tests.
• Analyze test results and optimize automated test coverage.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on backend and API testing.
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with C# programming.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Rest Assured, Postman).
• Deep understanding of testing strategies and the testing pyramid.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to the financial domain and payment processing systems.
