Job Description
VML MAP is seeking a Customer Strategy Director to drive the expansion of their U.S. presence in Austin, Texas. The Strategy Director will play a pivotal role in building the company's strategy capability and client relationships with leading global brands. This role involves working with global teams across both the wider VML Group and WPP network.
Role Involves:
  • Building stakeholder relationships and developing client accounts.
  • Defining and developing innovative digital marketing strategies.
  • Developing comprehensive CRM strategies and loyalty programs.
  • Designing seamless omni-channel strategies and lead management processes.
  • Managing client deliverables and presentations.
  • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for client services and growth teams.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in customer and business strategy.
  • Building and leading a team of strategists in the future.
Requirements:
  • Experience from a strategy consulting house or an in-house corporate strategy department.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful customer-centric strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up mentality.
  • Ability to shift between working from a helicopter view down to the nitty gritty details.
  • Expertise working with data and data-driven strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in the use of PowerPoint and Miro.
  • Must be based in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate.
