Nozomi Networks is seeking a motivated Vulnerability Researcher to join its Security Research team. The role involves contributing to vulnerability research, analyzing IoT and OT devices in the Switzerland lab, and using techniques to discover vulnerabilities.

The candidate will work with security experts in a collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to research vulnerabilities and analyze security flaws.

What this role involves:

  • Discovering, analyzing, and disclosing 0-day vulnerabilities on systems.
  • Reverse engineering protocols to identify weaknesses.
  • Experimenting with technologies for vulnerability research.
  • Developing methodologies and tools for vulnerability research.
  • Simulating attack scenarios and testing device security.
  • Collaborating with the Technical Lead on security research.

Requirements:

  • Passion for vulnerability research.
  • Curiosity and attention to detail.
  • Methodical approach.
  • Advanced skills in reverse engineering with tools like IDA Pro, Ghidra, or Radare2.
  • Experience in discovering and exploiting vulnerabilities in systems and protocols.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Ruby.
  • Experience in binary analysis on systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential research and operate under NDAs.
  • Italian and English language skills.
