Job Description

Nozomi Networks, a leader in OT and IoT cybersecurity, is seeking a Vulnerability Research Technical Lead to join their Security Research team. This role is based in Mendrisio, Switzerland, at their EU Headquarters. The successful candidate will lead and support a team of security researchers, fostering an innovative research culture and driving the discovery of 0-day vulnerabilities in IoT and OT devices.

The role involves in:

  • Leading and supporting a team of security researchers
  • Discovering, analyzing, and disclosing 0-day vulnerabilities
  • Reverse engineering undocumented protocols
  • Experimenting with emerging technologies
  • Developing new vulnerability research methodologies and tools
  • Simulating real-world attack scenarios in the lab

Requirements:

  • Passion for vulnerability research
  • Curiosity and attention to detail
  • Methodical and structured approach
  • Interest in growing into a managerial role
  • Experience in leading or mentoring teams in 0-day research
  • Advanced reverse engineering skills
  • Experience in discovering and exploiting vulnerabilities in embedded systems
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages
  • Experience in binary analysis on Windows and Linux systems
  • Ability to manage confidential research and operate under NDAs
  • Fluent in Italian and English
