Zeals, a fast-growing tech company in Japan, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams and drive technical excellence. The Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in shaping engineering teams, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of impactful projects. Requirements:

• 3+ years of management experience in crossfunctional teams.
• A deep understanding of backend/frontend technologies, APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching abilities with both backend and frontend engineers.
• Experience in project management, prioritization, and roadmap planning.
• A proven track record of delivering integrated solutions that meet business requirements.
• Japanese language proficiency at a business or native level (preferred)
• Understanding of cultural differences (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience in chatbots, AI, marketing, and SaaS products (preferred)
