Senior Data Scientist, Hungary at Signifyd

Signifyd is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their team in Budapest, Hungary. The Data Science team is responsible for building production machine learning models that are at the core of Signifyd's product, helping businesses minimize fraud and grow sales. The role involves end-to-end ownership of the decisioning engine, from research and development to online performance and risk management. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills through peer review, group paper study, and knowledge-sharing.Responsibilities:

• Build production machine learning models that identify fraud
• Write production and offline analytical code in Python
• Work with distributed data pipelines
• Communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences
• Collaborate with engineering teams to strengthen the machine learning platform

Requirements:

• A degree in computer science or a comparable analytical field
• 6+ years of post-undergrad work experience required
• Experience building production ML models
• Experience using visualizations to communicate analytical results
• Hands-on statistical analysis with a solid fundamental understanding
• Experience writing code and reviewing others' in a shared codebase, preferably in Python
• Practical SQL knowledge
• Experience designing experiments and collecting data
• Familiarity with the Linux command line
