Appian is seeking a Senior Advisory Solutions Consultant to join their Solutions Consulting team. The role involves working with an award-winning technology and collaborating with creative individuals in the tech industry. Appian's Solutions Consultants serve as trusted advisors, combining creative persona-based storytelling, technical solutioning, and business consulting to demonstrate the value of Appian's technology to customers. This person will be expected to work in-person with customers while also spending time in the office to collaborate with colleagues.

  • Experience with modern programming languages (Java, C#, Python, etc.)
  • Experience in enterprise software sales, preferably with BPM or low-code platforms
  • Strategic problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with production environments
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
  • 8+ years as a Pre-Sales Engineer OR 6+ years in a client-facing consulting role with sales involvement
  • Willingness to travel 10%
