Job Description

Sotheby's is seeking a CRM Data Analyst to join their Growth Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing customer and transactional data to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an email health and analytics model.
  • Work with the Email Service Provider (ESP) and the data team to ensure data availability and quality.
  • Extract actionable insights from email data.
  • Drive A/B and multivariate testing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted email lists.
  • Implement advanced segmentation strategies.
  • Provide reporting and insights to senior Marketing leadership.
  • Proactively identify trends and business opportunities.
  • Build customer views to understand the impact of Marketing.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments.
  • Communicate technical material with clear data visualization.
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, statistics, or related field.
  • 4 years' experience in data analytics or related field.
  • Proficient at navigating cross functional efforts and influencing Product, Finance, Business Operations and Engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of email marketing, database marketing, data integration, and CRM.
  • Polished communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Marketing Mix Models, Multi-Touch Attribution Models, Customer Segmentation and incrementality measurement approaches.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint abilities.
  • Expert at BI Tools (e.g. Tableau), SQL and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and a sense of ownership.
  • Experience using an enterprise-level digital analytics platforms (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead complex projects.
  • Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week
