Kroll Bond Rating Agency UK Limited is seeking a Director to join their Funds Ratings team in London. The Director will be responsible for assigning and monitoring credit ratings on debt instruments issued by funds. This role involves evaluating financing instruments that support fund operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead new issuance rating process.
- Interact with issuers and conduct due diligence meetings.
- Prepare rating memos and new issuance reports.
- Lead ongoing monitoring and surveillance process.
- Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases.
- Collaborate with KBRA experts in other sectors.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members.
- Lead or assist with the development of analytical tools.
- Represent KBRA at industry conferences.
- Assist with in-depth credit research and publications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
- Eight or more years of experience in fund finance, investing, or structured finance.
- Experience with investment strategies in private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure and asset-based lending facilities.
- Understanding of subscription lines, NAV financing, hybrid facilities, rated feeders, or other fund finance products.
- Experience reviewing legal documents and strong understanding of liability structures.
- Advanced Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
