Job Description
West Cancer Center is seeking a dedicated Infusion RN to join their team. The Infusion RN will be responsible for providing safe and effective infusion services, including chemotherapy administration. This role involves conducting patient assessments, educating patients and caregivers, managing venous access devices, and ensuring seamless coordination of care. The Infusion RN will be a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, working to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Role Involves:
- Conducting patient assessments
- Administering chemotherapy and other infusion therapies
- Managing venous access devices
- Educating patients and caregivers
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical, surgical, or clinical setting
- Current RN license in the state of employment or compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in healthcare documentation
