Point72 Academy is offering a ten-month paid training program for experienced professionals to become Long/Short Equity Financial Analysts. The program aims to introduce participants to the buy-side and prepare them for a potential career at Point72. Graduates may have the opportunity to join a long/short equity investing team.
The role involves:
- Learning fundamental research and analysis skills.
- Developing company analysis and modeling skills.
- Learning statistics, accounting, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Completing a compliance training curriculum.
- Rotating with two investing teams for practical experience.
To be eligible, candidates need to have:
- Superior analytical skills and qualifications in fields such as finance, law, philosophy, or similar.
- The ability and ambition to learn quickly.
- A passion for problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills.
