Lead Trading Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

dYdX is seeking a Lead Trading Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in New York. The candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling decentralized matching engine, risk system, and limit order book for blockchain protocol using CosmosSDK along with its surrounding backend systems. They will provide technical guidance and leadership, ensuring best practices within the engineering team, and collaborate with various teams to turn requirements into products.Role involves:

• Designing, building, and scaling decentralized matching engine, risk system, and limit order book for blockchain protocol.
• Providing technical guidance and leadership.
• Ensuring best practices within the engineering team.
• Collaborating with engineers, designers, researchers, and product managers.
• Mentoring and developing junior engineers.

Requirements:

• 8+ years experience as a backend software engineer.
• Experience with trading system at a mid/high frequency firm.
• Experience working on exchange infrastructure.
• Strong experience in a systems programming language and network programming knowledge.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and software architectures.
• Excellent coding skills, strong CS fundamentals, and debugging capabilities.
• Fast learner who can quickly master new technologies.
