dbt Labs is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to enhance the user experience of its customers. This role involves working within product development teams to design, build, and implement features that drive data-driven decision-making.Specifically, the Senior Frontend Engineer will:
  • Collaborate with product designers and managers to create intuitive user interfaces.
  • Lead the development of front-end experiences that improve the Analytics Development Lifecycle (ADLC).
  • Continuously enhance the performance, accessibility, and scalability of front-end applications.
  • Engage with users and stakeholders to iterate on designs and prototypes.
  • Advocate for best practices in front-end development and maintain well-structured, testable code.
  • Experiment with new front-end technologies.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Expertise in modern front-end technologies like React, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
  • Experience working asynchronously in a remote team.
  • A passion for creating intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces.
  • Experience in building and optimizing front-end performance for large-scale web applications.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools like Figma.
  • Proficiency with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress).
  • Strong English communication skills.
