Senior People Business Partner at dbt Labs

dbt Labs is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to support its Customer Experience and Partner organizations. This role is crucial for aligning people strategies with business goals and ensuring the organization is prepared for future needs. The Senior People Business Partner will collaborate with senior leaders and managers to develop leaders and teams, drive organizational effectiveness, engage employees, foster an inclusive culture, and prioritize high-impact solutions.

The role involves both strategic and tactical responsibilities, offering significant strategic impact through partnership with C- and VP-level leaders globally. The candidate will also contribute to programs and processes that maintain and enhance the business rhythm.

What this role involves:

• Serving as a trusted thought partner and coach to the Chief Customer Officer and VP Partnerships.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for people-related matters.
• Collaborating on workforce planning, talent development, and retention.
• Executing key People processes and programs.
• Providing guidance during organizational changes and challenges.
• Working on succession planning and special projects.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of HR Business Partner experience.
• Experience supporting technical teams and partnerships.
• Experience working for a high-growth company during international expansion.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
