dYdX is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in New York, NY. This role offers the opportunity to build state-of-the-art decentralized technologies that will redefine global financial markets. The Senior Frontend Engineer will play a crucial role in shaping the future of dYdX.

dYdX has built the world’s leading decentralized exchange for advanced trading of crypto assets. The team comprises experienced individuals from companies like Coinbase, Uniswap, Google, Amazon, Lyft, and Meta. dYdX is backed by top investors and advisors.
Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance the web application for our decentralized exchange
- Collaborate with designers to build elegant and responsive user interfaces
- Collaborate with backend engineers to build and ship new features
- Work with technologies that directly interface with the Ethereum blockchain
- Work together with multi-functional teams to develop the best overall product
Requirements:
- Depth of technical experience with demonstrated excellence
- Proficiency in writing efficient, high-quality code in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Ability to quickly master new technologies
- At least 3+ years of experience at a reputable tech company or startup (or minimum 2 technical internships)
- Commercial experience using React, Redux (or similar frameworks)
Nice to haves:
- Experience working on high-quality products in the finance or security space
- Experience with CSS preprocessors like LESS or SASS and JS bundlers like Webpack
- Experience building responsive, accessible, and performant sites
- Experience with other state management libraries
- Interest in DeFi and/or a general understanding of blockchain technologies
- CS Degree or equivalent experience
