Software Engineer - Backend

dYdX is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team and build state-of-the-art decentralized technologies. The Software Engineer will play a key role in shaping the future of dYdX and redefining global financial markets. dYdX is founded by an ex-Coinbase, ex-Uber engineer, with a Princeton CS background. The company's team has previous experience at Coinbase, Uniswap, Google, Amazon, Lyft, Meta and other top companies. dYdX is backed by top investors and advisors, including Andreessen Horowitz and Polychain Capital.Role involves:

• Writing low latency financial software.
• Developing open source blockchain-based code.
• Building high performance REST & WebSocket APIs.
• Writing open source TypeScript & Python clients.
• Collaborating with multi-functional teams.

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years experience as a full-time developer.
• Depth of technical experience.
• Ability to write secure, efficient, high quality code.
• Fast learner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience or Master’s degree in same and 1 year of experience.
