Senior Software Engineer - Backend at Founda Health

Responsibilities:

• Build a pre-fetch service for medical images.
• Build a Metrics API to aggregate and expose data insights.
• Improve the developer experience for the platform.
• Work on data normalization and terminology layers.
• Expand interaction patterns by adding standardized functional flows.
• Rewrite performance-heavy services.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Comfortable with multiple programming languages, including TypeScript, Golang, Python, or Java (mandatory).
• Experience with event-driven microservices in a scaling environment.
• Advocates for a strong engineering culture and cloud-native thinking.
• Proactive, can-do mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Ambition to grow to a staff-level position.
