Senior Associate, Earned Media

Job Description

Weber Shandwick is seeking a Senior Associate, Earned Media to join their Integrated Media Team in New York. The ideal candidate will support leading beauty brands by developing and executing effective media strategies. This role requires excellent media relationships and the ability to proactively identify new opportunities to elevate brand presence.

The role involves:

• Developing a strong understanding of the client’s business and target audience.
• Leading earned media efforts and securing impactful coverage.
• Executing media strategies that drive visibility.
• Crafting compelling media materials.
• Collaborating with integrated teams to drive multi-channel campaign success.
• Maintaining media communications with client stakeholders.
• Tracking and analyzing media coverage.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of PR/media relations experience, preferably in an agency environment.
• Established relationships with beauty and lifestyle media.
• Strong storytelling and media relations skills.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience working on integrated campaigns.
• Passion for beauty, pop culture, and media trends.
