Inizio is seeking a Head of ESG to continue the implementation of its global Sustainability Strategy. This role involves managing a small team and collaborating with key function leaders, business units, and external stakeholders. The position is a fixed-term maternity cover contract reporting to the Group Corporate Development Director. This role operates on a hybrid-working arrangement.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and expertise on best practice reporting.
  • Manage Inizio's annual submission to CDP and EcoVadis.
  • Work with colleagues to increase awareness of sustainability issues and goals.
  • Help develop a supply chain sustainability program.
  • Manage relationships with Inizio's corporate charities.
  • Present updates for the Executive team, Sustainability Committee, and Board.
Requirements:
  • Third-level degree in a relevant subject area.
  • 8+ years experience in corporate reporting, sustainability, or governance.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with corporate reporting, preferably in a public company environment.
  • Ability to analyse ESG legislation and other ESG regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proactive self-starter, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
