Job Description
Sezzle is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a front-end focus to join their team. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and deliver new features, mentor teammates, and drive continuous improvement of existing products.
Role involves:
- Designing software applications using React web, ESM, Storybook, component architecture, and Material UI (MUI).
- Delivering scalable applications with components and front-end architecture.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to design market-winning products.
- Developing and collecting metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Delivering high-quality A/B tests.
- Leading small development teams as needed.
- Mentoring other engineering teammates.
- Being a thought leader for front-end implementation.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
- Experience bringing new ideas and building consensus.
- Experience building and serving single-page applications (SPA).
- Experience working in a distributed, cloud-based architecture.
- BS in Computer Science or similar degree.
- Experience building custom ESM including refactoring CJS.
