A local consulting firm is seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to customized solutions for clients in a constantly evolving technological landscape. The Data Engineer will be involved in a variety of projects, ranging from data warehousing to data science, across diverse industries. Responsibilities include:

• Participating in the full software development life-cycle.
• Identifying data sources and create data flow diagrams.
• Extracting and integrating data from multiple sources into a common data model.
• Gathering requirements in collaboration with the client and consulting team.
• Assisting with report development using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and Qlickview.
• Contributing to ongoing improvements in engineering process and product development.
• Supporting business decisions with ad hoc analysis.

The ideal candidate possesses:

• 3+ years of experience as a data/software engineer.
• A strong understanding of data modeling concepts and design.
• A strong understanding of data warehousing technologies, ETL processes, and data flow architectures and tools.
• Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing the Agile approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working in fast paced environments.
