Data Engineer

Job Description

Inspire11 is seeking a Data Engineer in Prishtina, Kosovo, to tackle data and analytics challenges for clients. The role involves working with a team of intelligent and collaborative individuals, with opportunities for growth across various technologies.

The Data Engineer will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, and testing. They will identify data sources, create data flow diagrams, and extract data from multiple sources, integrating it into a common data model. They will also assist with report development using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and QlikView and contribute to ongoing process improvements

Responsibilities include:

• Participating in the full life-cycle of development, through definition, design, implementation, and testing
• Identifying data sources, providing data flow diagrams and documents source to target mapping and process
• Extracting data from multiple sources, integrate disparate data into a common data model, and integrate data into a target database, application, or file using efficient programming processes
• Working with the client and consulting team to help gather requirements
• Assisting with report development using tools such as: Tableau, PowerBI, Qlickview
• Supporting business decisions with ad hoc analysis as needed

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and design
• Strong understanding of data warehousing technologies, ETL processes, and data flow architectures and tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing the Agile approach
• Organized, detailed oriented, and can manage multiple projects at the same time
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
• 3+ years of experience as a data/software engineer
