Smartling is seeking a Localization Project Manager for a remote position based in Ireland. The Localization Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects associated with the delivery of translations on the Smartling platform. This role serves as the link between the linguist community, customers, and the Smartling team to coordinate, monitor, and deliver all translation projects per Smartling’s quality and turnaround time commitments.

Role Involves:

  • Overseeing and delivering multiple translation projects on a daily basis.
  • Managing all aspects of translator capacity/quality issues proactively.
  • Fostering close relationships with linguists.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver in a high-paced environment.
  • Ability to be entrepreneurial, persistent, and positive.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • High level of self-motivation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High degree of comfort with cloud-based software.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Fluency in English and a second language.
