Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst

Job Description

Recorded Future, a large intelligence company, is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to focus on APT trends. The analyst will be responsible for producing high-quality cyber threat intelligence, particularly concerning nation-state-aligned cyber threat actors.

The role involves responding to ad hoc intelligence requests, writing reports on APT activity, and contributing insights to general intelligence requirements. The analyst will work with datasets and may automate processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Producing and reviewing finished intelligence reports on APT groups.
• Engaging with clients throughout the report lifecycle.
• Developing novel processes for research and analysis.
• Working on projects across multiple research teams with tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a threat intelligence analyst or similar.
• BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Experience conducting technical threat analysis and research.
• In-depth understanding of networking protocols and traffic analysis.
• Detailed understanding of at least one nation-state APT group.
• Fluency in CTI research and data analysis platforms/tools.
• Ability to demonstrate strong writing ability.
• Practical experience using threat intelligence analysis models.
