Job Description

Brainlabs, a high-performance media agency, is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join their Tech team in Buenos Aires. The role involves working within an engineering scrum team, utilizing problem-solving skills to define issues, research and discuss solutions, and deliver solutions to end-user satisfaction. The Senior Python Developer will engage in the planning and design of large systems, creating high-quality technical documentation. He/She will collaborate with the VP of Social and Creative Tech to develop and enhance Brainlabs' proprietary ad and creative management platform, providing support to internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully deliver complex software development projects.
  • Plan and design of large systems with high quality technical documentation.
  • Work with our VP of Social and Creative Tech to develop and enhance our proprietary ad management and creative management platform.
  • Support internal teams as users of our platforms and in their execution of ad campaigns and creative workflow.
  • Translate business requirements into engineering specs and driving them to completion.
  • Build rapport with Facebook, Google, Tiktok and Snapchat technical support representatives.
  • Assist with machine learning capabilities around videos, images, ad copy, audiences and other ad elements.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to devops issues.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of Python 2.7 and 3.X, Postgresql, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and full-stack development.
  • Experience with jQuery and VueJS is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience working with one or more social networking APIs such as Facebook, Google, Tiktok or Snapchat.
  • Adept at using Git/Github for version control and collaboration.
  • Experience utilizing Github Actions for automation tasks.
  • Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience.
