Job Description
Verkada is seeking an IT Systems & Automation Architect to design system architectures and plan integration strategies across platforms. This role focuses on enabling scale and efficiencies through integration and automation initiatives. The architect will identify gaps, develop solutions, define requirements, and oversee implementation, requiring a hands-on approach to both solution development and build-out in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
The role involves:
- Overseeing transformation initiatives in integrations and corporate systems automation.
- Developing security-centric processes and automations.
- Developing cross-system automations using technologies like Okta, Workato, and Postman.
- Implementing SaaS system changes and access controls.
- Assessing business requirements and implementing enhancements.
- Developing analytics and dashboards to measure effectiveness.
- Maintaining documentation for security and compliance.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 5+ years in systems engineering and integrations.
- 4+ years in integrations, automation, and transformations for scale.
- Experience with workflow automation technologies like Okta, Workato, and Postman.
- Experience managing cloud applications, platforms, and APIs.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
