Specialist, CFO Innovation Team

Job Description

Point72 is seeking a Specialist for its CFO Innovation Team. The role focuses on reengineering finance-based processes with automation at the forefront. The Specialist will work with Technology partners and Finance teams to utilize tech solutions to design and implement ideas. They will also build awareness and expertise within the firm.

The role involves:

• Implementing new techniques and managing automation projects.
• Collaborating to improve activities such as the month-end close and trader accrual processes.
• Presenting analytical findings to guide action plans.
• Leveraging understanding of finance processes and systems to propose solutions.

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 4-6 years of professional experience in accounting, corporate finance and/or a relevant field.
• Technical expertise in automation tools such as MS Power Automate and Alteryx.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, and enterprise systems such as Workday
• Intellectual curiosity in adopting the latest technological advances such as within the GenAI space and applying them to Finance use cases.
• Ability to build working relationships with colleagues.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.
• Experience managing automation projects and mapping out process steps.
• Strong Excel skills and exposure to coding languages such as Python.
• A self-starter attitude and commitment to ethical standards.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
