Senior DevOps Engineer, Federal

Job Description

Aisera is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support federal customers. The candidate will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure security compliance. This role requires U.S. Citizenship and is based in Palo Alto, CA, with onsite interviews. The successful candidate will work with a dynamic team to automate and optimize development workflows, troubleshoot system performance, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

• Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Collaborating with development and operations teams
• Monitoring and troubleshooting system performance
• Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance
• Developing and maintaining documentation

• 5+ years of DevOps experience
• Experience with AWS (Azure/GCP a plus)
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)
• Scripting skills (Python or similar)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• Experience working on federal government contracts or projects
• Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
