Utilities Director EMEA

Job Description

Yondr is seeking a Utilities Director EMEA to lead engagement with utilities and power generation developers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role involves leading utilities due diligence and developing and executing infrastructure strategies for potential Yondr data center sites. The Utilities Director will work closely with stakeholders in Development, Design, Construction, Legal, Finance, and Operations to secure required utilities for data center projects.Responsibilities include developing power strategies, negotiating connection agreements, and supporting the development of Yondr's growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and delivering utility connections, with specific knowledge of infrastructure for data centers or similar mission-critical sites.Responsibilities:

• Support the development of the Yondr growth strategy.
• Manage the utilities due diligence process.
• Formalize the scope of infrastructure delivery and obtain quotes.
• Develop relationships with customers, agents, utilities, and landowners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business, or related field.
• Proficiency in English and a second European language.
• 6+ years of experience working with utilities within EMEA.
• Engineering, construction, or project management experience in the utility industry.
• Commercial skill set to review utility fees/tariffs and connection agreement contracts.
• Ability to self-start and self-motivate in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
