Job Description
Sony Pictures Imageworks is seeking an Associate Production Accountant to join their Production Finance Team in Vancouver. This role supports digital Producers and Senior Management in executing Animation and VFX projects. The company values unique perspectives and encourages diverse talent to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Producers in budgeting and cost tracking.
  • Assist in preparing weekly Estimated Final Cost (EFC) reports.
  • Support Production Accountants with month-end and quarterly show reporting.
  • Perform financial analysis as needed.
  • Handle additional production-related accounting functions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
  • Strong analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with various partners.
  • Experience with SAP is an asset.
  • VFX industry knowledge is an asset.
