Senior Technical Trainer at Contentful

Contentful is seeking a Senior Technical Trainer to join their team in Sydney, Australia. This role involves becoming a Contentful expert and delivering workshops to customers and partners across APAC. The Senior Technical Trainer will communicate the value of Contentful's features and the role of content infrastructure in digital transformation. The trainer will serve as a subject matter expert, helping the Learning Services team design learning experiences and create resources for Contentful users.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering virtual and in-person workshops on Contentful architecture, features, and best practices.
• Inspiring customers and partners to become enthusiastic Contentful advocates
• Serving as a Contentful subject matter expert and technical resource for the Learning Services team
• Creating training curriculum for new and existing product capabilities and record videos
• Communicating customer needs and feedback to the product management and development teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a learning or technology-related field
• 2-5 years experience as a Solution Architect or other technical role required
• Experience working with Contentful, Contentstack, Sanity, or other API-first composable content systems preferred
• Understanding of major commerce and marketing technology platforms
• Proven experience with current web technologies (React or other JavaScript libraries/frameworks, REST and GraphQL APIs, cloud-based microservices architecture, etc.)
• Experience working with content personalization, experimentation, and analytics tools
• Strong understanding of composable/MACH architecture and methodologies
• Agency/SI implementation partner experience a plus
• Presentation and facilitation skills
• Excellent educational instincts and experience creating instructor-led courses and learning materials
