Senior Technical Program Manager (f/m/d)

Job Description

Contentful is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive strategic programs and align cross-functional teams. The role involves leading the execution of complex technical initiatives within the Product Development organization. The Technical Program Manager will be a subject matter expert, driving technical initiatives, and ensuring strategic alignment and clear communication.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end program execution of complex technical initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to define program requirements.
• Identify and mitigate dependencies and risks.
• Drive alignment and communication across teams.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and success metrics.
• Manage external vendors and stakeholders.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management.
• Strong technical background in AI/ML (preferred), Automations, Workflows, Personalisation, Analytics.
• Experience managing multiple, complex technical programs simultaneously.
• Expert at anticipating risks and roadblocks.
• Ability to work through ambiguity.
• Proficiency in program management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with project management tools - JIRA (essential), Asana, Confluence, Miro or similar (nice to have)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
