Senior Technical Program Manager (f/m/d)

Job Description

Contentful is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to drive strategic programs and align cross-functional teams. The Technical Program Manager will be a subject matter expert, driving technical initiatives and working closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams. They will define program scope, manage dependencies, identify risks, and drive stakeholder alignment.

What the role involves:

• Leading end-to-end program execution of complex technical initiatives.
• Collaborating with teams to define program requirements and create detailed program plans.
• Identifying and mitigating dependencies and risks.
• Driving alignment and communication across teams.
• Establishing and monitoring KPIs and success metrics.
• Managing external vendors and stakeholders.
• Championing a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management.
• Strong technical background in AI/ML or experience in Automations, Workflows, Personalisation, Analytics.
• Experience managing multiple, complex technical programs simultaneously.
• Ability to anticipate risks and roadblocks.
• Proficiency in program management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with project management tools - JIRA (essential), Asana, Confluence, Miro or similar.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
