Contentful is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to focus on the DACH market. The role involves leading the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing, and driving net new revenue. The Account Executive will collaborate with Customer Experience and Marketing teams to nurture and grow a regional customer base, using a consultative sales approach to communicate with developers and business leaders.
Self-generation of pipeline through outbound motions.
Position and negotiate expansion opportunities with existing clients.
Meet quarterly and annual sales goals.
Manage RFI/RFQ requests.
Refine and evolve the "land-and-expand" model.
Understand digital experience challenges and align Contentful's ROI.
Work with Sales Engineers and Solution Architects to uncover technical opportunities.
Develop innovative proposals and negotiate contracts.
Work with customer success & marketing teams to ensure best practices.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience selling a technical platform.
4+ years of quota carrying experience.
Working knowledge of selling a technical SaaS and/or PaaS platform.
2+ years of growing existing customer accounts in a SaaS and/or PaaS environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of selling transactions of $150k+ to organizations with $1b+ in revenue.
