Job Description
Contentful is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to focus on the DACH market. This role involves leading the sales process from prospecting to closing, driving new revenue, and identifying upsell opportunities. The Account Executive will collaborate with Customer Experience and Marketing teams to expand the regional customer base.Role involves:
- Self-generating pipeline through outbound activities.
- Positioning and negotiating expansion opportunities with existing clients.
- Meeting sales goals by developing account strategies and managing sales processes.
- Managing RFI/RFQ requests.
- Refining the "land-and-expand" model.
- Understanding digital experience challenges and aligning Contentful's ROI.
- Working with Sales Engineers and Solution Architects.
- Developing proposals and negotiating contracts.
- Collaborating with customer success & marketing teams.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience selling a technical platform.
- 4+ years of quota carrying experience.
- Knowledge of selling a technical SaaS and/or PaaS platform.
- 2+ years of growing existing customer accounts.
- Knowledge of selling transactions of $150k+ to large organizations.
- Experience working with Partner ecosystems.
- Fluent in German.
