Contentful is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to focus on the French market. The role involves leading the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing, driving new revenue, and identifying upsell opportunities with new and existing customers. The Account Executive will collaborate with Customer Experience and Marketing teams to grow a regional customer base, using a consultative sales approach to engage with both developers and business leaders.
  • Self-generating pipeline through outbound activities.
  • Positioning and negotiating expansion opportunities with existing clients.
  • Meeting quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Managing RFI/RFQ requests.
  • Refining the "land-and-expand" model.
  • Aligning Contentful's ROI with customer challenges.
  • Working with Sales Engineers and Solution Architects on technical opportunities.
  • Developing proposals and negotiating contracts.
  • Collaborating with customer success & marketing teams.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience selling a technical platform.
  • 4+ years of quota carrying experience.
  • Experience selling to customers a technical SaaS and/or PaaS platform.
  • 2+ years of growing existing customer accounts in a SaaS and/or PaaS environment.
  • Knowledge of selling transactions of $150k+ to organizations with $1b+ in revenue.
  • Experience working with Partner ecosystems.
  • Fluent in French.
