Truecaller is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join their Premium team in Stockholm, Sweden. Truecaller's goal is to make communication smarter and safer. The company is known as the world’s #1 caller ID and spam-blocking service. The Senior Test Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of the Truecaller service and app on Android and iOS platforms.

The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in the product development cycle. They will define and drive testing strategies to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying test activities and dependencies across backend and frontend.
  • Ensuring deliverables meet agreed quality levels.
  • Reflecting app changes in regression test suites.
  • Continuously testing the app to discover issues.
  • Providing feedback on product ideas and raising concerns.
  • Contributing to automation for existing and new features.
  • Driving technical improvements to minimize manual work.
  • Maintaining high engineering standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in testing mobile applications.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent manual testing skills.
  • Knowledge of Android OS functionalities.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues clearly.
  • Experience with JIRA and Android Studio.
