Point72 is seeking an Associate for their Investment Professional Development (IPD) team in Hong Kong. The IPD team enhances the commercial success of long/short investment teams through targeted development programs focused on improving the skills of investment professionals.

The role involves developing and updating curriculum of best practices, undertaking project-based work, supporting internal processes, building analytical tools, and analyzing internal performance data. The Associate will also work closely with Compliance to ensure adherence with applicable policies and procedures.

What This Role Involves:

  • Develop and update curriculum of best practices
  • Undertake project-based work in support of Head of Investment Professional Development and senior management
  • Help coordinate and support internal processes
  • Build analytical tools to help measure and improve long/short team performance and investment process
  • Analyze internal performance data to come up with actionable recommendations
  • Work closely with Compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in the international financial services sector
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese or Japanese is preferable
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial statement analysis
  • Strong technical skills in PowerPoint/Excel/Bloomberg
  • GPA 3.5/ 4.0 or above
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards
