Job Description
The Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation is seeking a Finance Associate to join their team in Stamford, CT. This role will focus on Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and will support the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions of the Foundations. The Finance Associate will report to the Director of Finance and Operations and will work closely with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Role Involves:
- Budgeting: Supporting annual budget preparation, analyzing historical data, and forecasting.
- Analysis: Conducting financial and data analysis to support organizational knowledge building and decision making.
- Reporting: Preparing internal monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for leadership.
- Other: Supporting efforts to improve processes and automate manual tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of financial analysis and reporting experience in a non-profit setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting, grants, financial analysis, report building, and data visualization.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong quantitative analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis and database tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Superb relationship and customer management skills.
- Self-motivated with a hands-on approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
