Job Description
The Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation is seeking a Finance Associate to join their team in Stamford, CT. This role will focus on Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and will support the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions of the Foundations. The Finance Associate will report to the Director of Finance and Operations and will work closely with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Role Involves:
  • Budgeting: Supporting annual budget preparation, analyzing historical data, and forecasting.
  • Analysis: Conducting financial and data analysis to support organizational knowledge building and decision making.
  • Reporting: Preparing internal monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for leadership.
  • Other: Supporting efforts to improve processes and automate manual tasks.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of financial analysis and reporting experience in a non-profit setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting, grants, financial analysis, report building, and data visualization.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis and database tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Superb relationship and customer management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
