Compliance Analyst – Research Compliance

Job Description

Point72 is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join its industry-leading Compliance department. This role focuses on Primary Research Compliance, where the analyst will maintain and manage the Firm’s policies and procedures regarding interactions with consultant networks, independent consultants, and custom projects.

The Compliance Analyst will collaborate with team members in Research Compliance and work closely with investment professionals across the Firm.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct oversight of interactions with consultants, ensuring adherence to Firm rules.
• Chaperone consultant calls and document them accordingly.
• Monitor and notate chaperoned calls using a proprietary compliance management system.
• Assist in the oversight and maintenance of policies and procedures relating to custom projects and surveys.
• Brainstorm and implement ideas for enhancing compliance oversight and efficient processes.
• Recommend and draft enhancements to existing policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of compliance experience in the financial services industry
• Undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.2 required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Team player
