Job Description
Sixteenth, part of Whalar Group, is seeking a Talent Manager or Junior Talent Manager to manage and build a roster of creators. This role involves identifying and unlocking opportunities for talent to grow revenue streams across multiple verticals. The ideal candidate possesses a strong network of brand and agency contacts, industry insight, and a passion for helping talent grow their personal brands. The role is a work-from-home position, but the candidate should be located in the LA or NY tri-state region. They would have access to offices as well.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and managing a roster of talent, developing strategic plans for career growth.
- Collaborating with publicists and other team members.
- Leading and managing brand partnerships.
- Negotiating and managing commercial contracts.
- Project managing brand campaigns.
- Cultivating new brand relationships.
- Leveraging industry relationships and maintaining knowledge of the digital landscape.
- Supporting talent in expanding their off-platform presence.
- Planning and executing events.
- Developing case studies and post-campaign reports.
Requirements:
- Balance of commercial acumen and a creative mindset.
- Proven record of generating new business.
- Fluent understanding of marketing, digital advertising and/or PR.
- Preexisting relationships with influencers.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of commercial contracts.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to take calls and respond to emails outside of office hours.
- Great interpersonal skills.
