Point72 is seeking a Compliance Officer for a 1-year contract in Singapore. The Compliance department supports global investment and trading activities, establishing and enforcing compliance policies. The role involves compliance monitoring, records maintenance, and advising on regulatory matters for Point72's Singapore operations.Responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring employees’ compliance with the Code of Ethics
  • Managing potential conflicts of interest
  • Conducting reviews relating to personal trading policy
  • Administering compliance training and monitoring programs
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects and regional compliance coverage
  • Monitoring and tracking new hires/visitors
  • Administering regulatory filings and notifications
  • Maintaining the Register of Interests
  • Tracking regulatory developments
  • Providing advice on regulatory and Firm policy requirements
  • Serving as point of contact for MNPI issues
  • Vetting broker/third-party events
  • Handling compliance tasks throughout the hiring process
Requirements:
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Singapore securities laws
  • A degree from a reputable institution
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
