6sense is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead backend engineering projects. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining top-tier software engineering talent. They will foster a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, and career development guidance. This role involves identifying and resolving systemic challenges impacting team performance and software quality. Candidates will conduct regular 1:1s to support team members. Close collaboration with other Engineering Managers and Product Managers on project planning and roadmap execution will also be required of them. 6sense wants the candidate to contribute to software architecture, data strategies, and team growth.

Required Qualifications: - 8+ years in software development, with at least 2+ years managing teams.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Python, Go, Ruby on Rails (RoR), or equivalent technologies.
- BS/MS in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional, multi-team projects.
The candidate will also have interpersonal skills, recognizing software development beyond just code, working independently & coordinating with the team, taking ownership of projects, strong communication to mentor and explain technical decisions, and be adaptable for evolving job descriptions.
