Job Description
6sense is seeking a passionate Software Engineer III - API to join their team. This role involves developing backend and data engineering frameworks, writing performant REST APIs, and building robust high-volume applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product and architecture teams, support QA and DevOps, and mentor junior engineers.
Role involves:
- Developing backend & data engineering framework
- Writing performant REST APIs
- Building robust high-volume applications

Requirements:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of relevant technical experience
- Solid foundation in computer science
- Experience with software design and development on UNIX/Linux
- Strong coding skills in Java on Spring Boot, Python on Django, Goland, and OO framework
- Basic AWS experience or any other cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, etc.
- Exposure and experience working with Kubernetes
- Knowledge in SQL or Non-SQL, direct work experience on MySQL and/or Hive
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment processes
