Job Description
6sense is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join its dynamic team. The engineer will be responsible for building scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant backend systems. This role involves working on critical projects that drive platform scalability, optimize performance, and improve system reliability for a global customer base. The Senior Backend Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work on cutting-edge technologies while solving complex challenges. His contributions will ensure 6sense delivers seamless customer experiences.
  • Design, develop and maintain APIs and microservices.
  • Optimize performance and ensure low-latency, high-availability services.
  • Improve email systems and protocols to ensure high deliverability rates.
  • Partner with product, design, and frontend teams to develop new features.
  • Implement best practices in CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure.
  • Participate in decisions about system architecture, tool adoption, and technology innovation.
  • 4+ years of professional backend development experience focusing on scalable systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with Redis, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
  • Familiarity with email protocols and strategies for improving deliverability.
  • Proficiency in backend frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Python, or Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API design.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem-solving ability and debugging skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
