6sense is seeking a Sr. Manager, Strategic Sales to build and scale a market-leading strategic sales organization. Reporting to the VP, Enterprise + Strategic Sales, this leader will build and lead a high-performing sales team, focusing on coaching, development, and motivation to exceed revenue targets. The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming B2B marketing and sales, possess strong critical thinking skills, and be adept at driving customer value-based growth.This role involves:
  • Hiring and developing a team of Strategic Account Executives.
  • Creating situational playbooks and sales plays to land new deals and expand within the customer base.
  • Building a tight partnership with the Customer Success team to expand Strategic Segment accounts.
  • Collaborating with the GTM Enablement team to enhance Account Executive skills and competencies.
  • Overachieving targets for both new business and expansion.
  • Fostering a winning culture of high performance and engagement within the Strategic Sales team.
Requirements for this role include:
  • Relevant sales experience with several years of people management and sales leadership experience.
  • A proven track record of recruiting, hiring, and onboarding top-performing Account Executives.
  • Experience coaching and enabling with a track record of developing A+ talent.
  • Mastery of Force Management (Command of the Message) or similar sales methodology.
  • Advanced skills in dealing with ambiguity and complexity.
  • Experience creating sales plans, processes, and playbooks with cross-functional partners.
  • Proven cross-functional partnership with Customer Success, Enablement, RevOps, and Marketing.
  • Domain expertise within Sales, Marketing, and/or RevOps.
  • A proven track record in leading and coaching a high-performing team to hunt new business and expand customer accounts.
  • Executive presence in value selling to Enterprise CMOs, VPs of Demand Gen, Marketing Operations, and Sales leaders.
  • Diversity evangelism and sponsorship.
  • A 4-year BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
