Job Description

Point72 is seeking an AI Product Lead, Macro to join their Global Macro business. The AI Product Lead will manage a team of AI/ML researchers and developers, partnering with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deploy AI/ML solutions.

Role involves:

  • Leading the development of AI solutions to improve performance for Point72’s Discretionary Macro business.
  • Identifying, scoping, and prioritizing AI projects.
  • Summarizing research using NLP/LLM techniques.
  • Building and maintaining connectivity APIs.
  • Mapping trade ideas to internal metadata.
  • Managing the product development lifecycle.
  • Tracking and communicating progress on AI Macro initiatives.
  • Partnering with other product leads and Technology/Compliance departments.
  • Establishing rigorous model governance practices.
  • Staying up to date on AI/ML market trends.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in leading tech/engineers/quants
  • Demonstrated success leveraging AI.
  • Experience and knowledge of macro investing.
  • History of attracting and developing AI/ML talent.
  • Team-first approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
