Corporate Accounting, Associate

Job Description

Point72 is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Associate to join its Corporate Accounting team in Singapore. This role will be responsible for the accounting of various Asia-based entities, including those in Singapore, India, and Greater China. The Associate will work closely with U.S.-based teams and international employees across APAC, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting.

• Overseeing day-to-day and month-end accounting and regulatory reporting processes.
• Managing annual financial statement audit process.
• Handling regulatory and other statutory reporting, including filings with the MAS in Singapore.
• Partnering with Tax team to assist with tax filing.
• Liaising with Legal and Compliance to ensure report accuracy.
• Continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency and controls.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated leadership skills .
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours periodically.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting with a CPA license.
• 4-6+ years of technical accounting experience including IFRS, local GAAP and accounting policy.
• Experience with regulatory reporting for registered companies in Singapore (MAS Tier B quarterly submission).
• Experience managing accounting processes in multiple foreign currencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong data analysis skills/experience.
• Strong experience with monthly close process, procedures, and systems and process re-engineering.
• Experience with Workday will be helpful.
