Point72 is seeking an experienced Equities Trader to join its Asia Trading Desk in Hong Kong. The Asia Trading Desk is responsible for providing best execution of asset classes across all major Asian markets for Point72's investment teams globally. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of equities trading, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What this role involves:

  • Executing trades for Asia based portfolio managers.
  • Monitoring price movements, volume, and trading flows for stocks.
  • Maintaining strong broker relationships.
  • Booking trades and monitoring portfolios for accuracy.
  • Liaising with trading assistants, Operations, Compliance and Risk.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as an equities trader.
  • Deep understanding of equities trading.
  • Understanding of broker-sponsored algorithms.
  • Knowledge of the structure of major Asian equity markets.
  • Fluency with trading technology.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
  • Degree in finance, math, engineering, or related field.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Commitment to ethical standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
