Job Description
Wallapop is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join their team in Barcelona. Wallapop is driven by the purpose to empower people to embrace a more conscious and human way of consumption. The ideal candidate will drive high-quality product experiences, contribute to team growth, and help evolve a 10+ year-old codebase.
What this role involves:
- Contributing hands-on to cross-team delivery.
- Collaborating with design, product, and engineering leadership.
- Acting as a technical reference within the team.
- Coordinating with other platforms for a cohesive experience.
- Improving architecture, tooling, and performance practices.
- Mentoring peers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Applying a product-first mindset.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Swift and iOS development.
- Ability to balance technical trade-offs with product impact.
- Solid understanding of architecture principles and code quality standards.
- Experience in collaborative, multi-team codebases.
- Familiarity with RxSwift or other reactive programming paradigms.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally.
